Just read the controversy about the cafe.. It'll be a big loss if TRW station was closed.. Cannot comment much - can count how many times i went there.. Blame the cafe for looking too exclusive - never occur to me to dine in at an exclusive restaurant with 'special' price until my friend asked me to accompany her to buy TRW jersey..
My first impression was, the cafe do looks exclusive, but the price of food was still acceptable.. I ordered lunch set & got a delicious nasi ophelia ( fried rice with fried chicken) and a tea + lychee drink at an economy price while my friend got her western meal at a standard price..
Most seats were occupied with KTC workers & students (maybe trainee
at HRPZII ) & i chose a seat outside, facing the road, Hospital
Pakar Perdana & KFC Stadium..
I like the interior design of the cafe - the cooking space may be limited, however the owner modified it to look like a bar & that bar, in my view, gave modern touch (western style) & save the cafe from being a typical restaurant where customers could see and smell 'what the rock is cooking' directly (hehe).. what i mean was, the fruits & the ornaments/glassess caught the attention of customers immediately & thay care less about what's going on behind that bar..
Behind the payment counter, KAFA merchandises were displayed.. Jerseys were displayed at the other side..
All tables were decorated with rectangular thingy, each side pictured TRW players, their jersey numbers & the trademark red colour (they didnt update it, though - Hai-O had transferred to Negeri Sembilan and now ATM, yet the staff 'forgot' that fact!)..
Just as the name implies, the image of football welcome the customers outside meanwhile the red paint / red background gave a striking look, noticeable from far.. Walking upstairs, a space with totally different decoration awaited us. Equipped with sofa and a big screen, these different element create a corporate look, suitable for any KAFA event/announcement..
