it had been 15 years since my last visit to Johor Bahru... so, when i got 5 public holidays, i decide to visit JB & Singapore.. However, a budget hotel may cost me SGD 50 which is equal to RM125 (1SGD=RM2.50), just for a bed in a dormitory... so, JB was the best alternative place for accommodation... most Malaysian stay at Tune Hotel Danga Bay to cut buget on accommodation, so i tried to book 1 room... however, rooms was full on selected date, thus i decide to stay@ my relative's house..& turn out that his house was near to Plaza Angsana&Danga Bay...
on first day, he brought me to Legoland Malaysia... Maybe because it was public holiday, the parking lot was conquered by the Singaporean with their S plate number... Entering Medini Mall, there was exhibition of 'kolam', in conjuction with Deepavali... window shopping - the average price for drinks was around RM10 (Cool Blog excluded), there was artists' corner ( karikatur hitam putih =RM 15, coloured one =RM 30), KFC, MyNews Hub & few cafes...
the ticket queue was extremely long, plus it was already 12 noon, so i decide to wander around the entrance - taking photos, admiring the beauty of the architecture (the trademark Legoland entrance, the cartoons above the ticket counter, the castle- alike entrances, photos of Legoland&HelloKitty hotel) & had a sneek peek on what Legoland actually consist of..can vaguely see KLCC, Masjid Putrajaya &few other models from the entrance..
honestly, it's best to enter theme park early in the morning & enjoy all rides despite the long queue, so it was redundant to enter if the clock already strike 12 noon.....we plan to visit Hello Kitty Land for its grand opening, but it rained heavily on our way back..cant see the signboard to the Hello Kitty Land, so we head to Plaza Angsana for lunch... After that, my cousin drove us around JB, passed by Masjid Sultan Abu Bakar, Danga Bay & City Centre...
