Astra Zeneca Dinner Symposium @ Hotel Grand Riverview

I'm quite busy today, dont even have time to rest or lunch.. Thinking that the calculations will drag  past 3.30pm, i decided to go to Grand Riverview after i finished my job, to explore something new & release my tension..

Because most of the participants came late, I had time to  "lepak-lepak" at the cafe facing the swimming pool  and a gazebo decorated with leaves.. A great place to lepak - how exclusive it was to lepak at  a strategic spot & feels like the whole world is yours because nobody was there , except you and your partner/companion! Since it was actually a cafe, i browse the menu - a normal drink like Milo cost RM9! Better to spend that rm9 on something else eg Krushers & cheesy wedges rather than a Milo! I love the centrepieces, though - the flowers look like a real flower but the stem was hard! the soft texture of the flowers gave a conflicting verdict whether the centrepieces were the real flowers or just an artificial flower! For a romantic getaway, perhaps yes but I recommend TRW station to  hang out with friends .. Outside, it was hot, so i cant take a stroll alongside the river to enjoy the scenery of Sungai Kelantan (Riverview stand for view of the river, i guess!).. The hotel was spacious, a map on places of interest at the heart of the city was displayed in front of the reception counter.. A gigantic image of "wau" at the hall welcome the customers.. Truly Kelantan... My only negative remark was i cant find a "surau" or prayers room there & i noticed that they located  rows of 'sejadah' near the staircase separated with partition..cant excuse that, even Renaissance provide prayer's room!

Back to the symposium, it was actually two brief talk on Vimovo & i only brought home a bone, written details on Vimovo at each side - no pen, files or any bag like any company talk.. What i mean was, usually, i'll get at least a pen and a file with literature reviews on the product plus the product leaflet when i attend any company talk.. As the cost was RM1.30 per tablet, frankly speaking i believe Vimovo ( Naproxen + Esomeprazole) wont get much attention although its efficacy was comparable to Celecoxib.. Moreover, Celecoxib were widely used as painkillers, not restricted to osteoarthritis/bone- related pain only..
